The London Trip - 25 July 2007 - Guest Visitor
Thank you so much for the trip to London today . I especially like the visit to the temple and was amazed at the wonderful carvings and the obvious devotion by many craftsmen who worked voluntarily to create such a magnificant building. Inside the House of Lords at Parliament was also a great experience. Again, thank you for organising the trip, I enjoyed it a lot. |
A Great Day - 20 0ctober 2006 - Senior Health Professional
Thank you for hosting a superb Health Day and AGM. Everyone was very pleased with the event and it was a pleasure to work with you. If possible, please could you send me an electronic version of your Group Organiser's Report for 2006. I would like to show this to our Director of Public Health. Once again, thank you for all your hard work and I wish Slough Senior Citizens Group a very successful future. |
AGM - 20 0ctober 2006 - A Member
I would like to thank you very much for a successful and informative AGM today. At that meeting I learned learned something within the first few minutes - from the first subject - meditation - and I thought to myself, if I learn nothing else today, my time has been well-spent. I never thought there were so many exercises that one could do sitting down. I have to relay these exercises to my disabled husband. I learned so much from the excellent Doctor who spoke on strokes. in fact I heard many other things of interest - as well as picking up informative leaflets. The refreshments were very nice and before I went home I was the first number picked out in the draw. I rarely win anything so I was very lucky. I then handed my other tickets back to Mary as winning one prize for me was more than I expected and I wanted to give others a chance. I am most grateful for the lift that Councillor Christine Small gave me when i had difficulty getting a taxi. Initially she was going to drop me at the Town Hall but decided to take me nearer to my home.I must write and thank her for her kindness. It must have been my lucky day. |
A Pleasure - 10 November 2006 - Senior Consultant Doctor
It was a pleasure speaking at your forum. I was really surprised by the turn out. It does reflect the extremely good work you are doing for the senior citizens in Slough. I will be very happy to speak at any of your forums in the future. |
